I think the white wainscotting is so cute. I especially like it with blue, yellor or sage green, particularly, as sublime said, in a cottage setting. Looks nice in a bathroom or bedroom.

I don't have any crafts that I do, but I really enjoy seeing what others have done and even offering suggestions.

Hello

My brother and I started collecting coins
in the mid 1960's. We'd go to the bank and
buy rolls of coins and look through them for
old coins. I found 2 whole rolls of buffalo
nickels, tons of wheat pennies, silver dimes,
steel pennies [WW2 period], WW2 era nickels,
silver quarters and half dollars. I still have them
all. I have some 1$ silver certificates, some old
$2 bills, silver dollars and a bunch of old foreign
coins. And some foreign coins from when we lived
in Germany when my dad was stationed there with
the Army and we traveled over Europe each summer
on vacation camping trips in the early - mid 1960's.

Have a great day all,

Jeff

It's pretty stinky because of the ammonia but I get the lemon scent and it's not as bad.

1 part ammonia
1 part liquid laundry detergent
1 part baking soda
6 parts water

I fudge it so it fits in the original spray bottle. Also a great degreaser for laundry is to rub GoJo (hand wash for mechanics) on the stain -- it works for all grease stains! Use an old tooth brush to get it into the fabric then wash as usual. Check if stain is completely gone prior to drying in the dryer. Steps may need to be repeated but so far, this has worked for me on every first try.

Chiming in REALLY late but...

I'd be really tempted to reline my jewelry box with some of it and/or make small rounds of it for padded feet under items like a candy dish or something like that - but learned the hard way that red felt, once wet, bleeds like crazy so I won't use it under a vase ever again - just me.

Oh, also just thought of maybe using it as background for a shadow box or under lace at the holidays?

Just some ideas.

a bunch of red felt. I'll probably donate it to a church or daycare. Trying to come up with ideas of what I might use it for.
